Outdoor Meetings

Field meetings are held throughout the year, particularly in spring and summer.

They vary from half-day to weekend excursions and visit a wide range of localities.

On many there is a formal guide, but on others the members help each other out as we've many of skills between us and there is usually plenty of expertise on hand to help with identification.

2010 Outdoor Meetings

The details of where to meet and when are in the Newsletters. If you're a member then you will get these details well ahead of the meetings. If not and you are interested (and you'd be welcome to join us!) then the details can be obtained by contacting us via any of the contact details on the contacts page.

Most walks are free to members, although we do charge for some special events where we have to bire facilities. We do allow "guest memberships" to people coming along to meet us to try us out in the hope that they will join us permanently.

New and updated events are highlighted in green
